About Us
We are Darke County’s premier soccer club since 1996. Our mission is to provide a positive, fun, and competitive learning environment where player development is built through our open gym off-season work outs, recreational team play, and select club play.
Through expanded fundraising efforts, we are able to offer scholarship opportunities for registrations at no or reduced cost, allowing more young athletes to participate at all levels of play. All community support toward this effort is very much appreciated.

Get involved
Volunteer COACHES and ASSISTANT COACHES for REC SOCCER:
- Promote a SAFE and FUN environment for RECREATIONAL SOCCER PLAYERS
to encourage development, growth, and team mentality for our young
athletes - Communication options have improved with the GotSport platform to get everyone in one place
- 1 practice and 1 Saturday game (x8) per week – plus season finale tournament this year!
- All equipment is provided
*No license required, but online training and a background check must be completed for placement in any of the above positions – at NO COST to you.*
Train as a REFEREE and get paid to support MVYSA games of your choosing. We are always short of refs for Darke County games, but registered Referees can select any games. CLICK HERE for information on becoming a REFEREE.
Volunteer your time and help us all share the work…
TEAM PARENT – organize and coordinate efforts among player parents to have a healthy snack and drink provided for all team members after every game; assist coaches in collecting/distributing information for the team when needed.
Each of the following committees will include at least 1 Board Officer and a number of volunteers as is feasible:
FIELD MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE – volunteer your time periodically to help our Field Manager with mowing, striping, and checking field conditions.
FUNDRAISING/SPONSORSHIP COMMITTEE – volunteer for a season or for an event to coordinate with vendors and/or assist coaching staff and other DCSA Board personnel with collection and distribution for fundraiser orders and payments. Volunteer your time and people skills to distribute Sponsorship requests and bring in funds to support our current teams, events, and future players too.
COACHING COMMITTEE – have coaching experience but not enough time to coach? Volunteer your time to help create/provide standards and training for the Select and Rec coaching staff.
REC COMMITTEE – this committee includes the Rec (Co-)Director and a Board Officer. Volunteer your time to distribute information, set-up for practices/games/events, provide a staff presence at events, identify needs, and communicate.
EVENT COMMITTEE – volunteer your time and skills to fill any number of spots for various events throughout the season: raffle sales, event greeter, set-up, clean-up, food, decorations, and others…all depending on the specific event. This committee may be short term and specific to a given event. Example event: End-of-Season Celebration.
STEERING COMMITTEE – volunteer your time to look into, discuss, and plan options for long term growth and sustainment of the organization.
