Offered for the 2025 Fall season: young athletes born 2008-2022 learn soccer skills that are age appropriate in a fun, positive, and safe atmosphere.  This program is a great way for Darke County youth to stay active, meet new friends, and learn the basics of soccer all while having fun.

All practices and regular games will be located either behind the Trinity Wesleyan Church, 1400 East Main Street, Greenville, Ohio or behind the Greenville Middle/Elementary School at 1111 North Ohio St, Greenville, Ohio. 

You will have the choice of selecting the Rec Academy program (U6 and U9) 
or the Advanced Rec program (U9+) for each player. [additional details below]

We have a Multi-player discount of 20% on all subsequent players from the same family/household when registered in the same registration cart.

All practices and games will be held at the fields behind Trinity Wesleyan Church (1400 East Main St, Greenville) or the fields behind Greenville Middle School (1111 North Ohio St, Greenville) depending on age group and team assignment.

Shin Guards are required for all players

Cleats are recommended, especially for U12+ players

Always bring water to practices and games

Dress for the weather (game jersey as top layer on game day)

Sunday, August 17^th Registration Deadline – any considerations for late registration will include fee for single jersey printing

Sunday, August 24^th Coach Meeting/Training, 4:00PM at 1400 East Main St (Lobby/ back entrance @ Trinity Wesleyan).

Monday, August 25^th 2025 Fall Season begins, practice schedules to be announced, watch Facebook for DCSA announcements 

*Advanced Rec ONLY* Player Evaluations will take place at the first practice; teams will be drafted based on evaluations

Saturdays, Game Days September 6^th through October 18^th, 7 Games are scheduled with 1 practice per week (schedule TBA, older teams may have additional practices). 

Saturday, October 25^th and/or Sunday, October 26^th *Advanced Rec ONLY* Play-off Games schedule TBA.

Saturday, November 1^st Advanced Rec Championships and DCSA Season Celebration Greenville, Ohio location/schedule TBA.

**All teams and age groupings are dependent upon the number of registered players.  Any changes will be communicated prior to assignment.

Registration cost: $55/player – Advanced Rec  OR  $35/player – Rec Academy. 
All players will receive a game T-shirt if registered by 08/17/2025.

What is Rec Academy?  

This option is for younger and/or newer players.  Academy focuses on fun and skill building. All players within their age group (U6 or U9) will practice together on the same night, with a number of coaches, focusing on fun ways to learn, improve skills, and build sportsmanship.  Each Saturday game day, players will sign in and coaches will randomly draw players for a new team each week.  All players will receive the same Academy jersey and we will use pinnies to distinguish teams during game play.  Detailed schedules to be determined. Registration fee for Academy is $35 per player.

 

 

What is Advanced Rec?  

This option is for players that already have basic skills established and are looking for more competitive play, but still at the Recreational level (not ready or wanting to move to Select teams) and/or for players U9 and up.  Players will be evaluated prior to practices and coaches will draft players to their teams.  Each player will receive a game jersey for their assigned team.  Practices will be once per week and game days on Saturdays.  You may submit preferences/requests for teammates and/or coaches, which will be taken into consideration for team assignments, but cannot be guaranteed.  Detailed schedules to be determined.  Registration fee for Advanced Rec is $55 per player.

 

If your player is not ready for Advanced Rec, consider Rec Academy option for U9 and under players.
